What’s inside
Six parts, from raw tables to a finished income statement.
Plain SQL you can read, run and adapt. It uses standard NetSuite tables only, with no custom lists, records or segments.
Staging
19 staging views
One view per raw SuiteAnalytics table, so every later step reads from a clean, consistent layer. Change one schema name to point it at your tables.
Core model
General ledger fact
Transaction headers and lines joined to accounts, subsidiaries, departments, classes and accounting periods, reading posted lines from the primary book.
Currency
FX and consolidation
Consolidated and budget exchange rates collapsed to one row per subsidiary and period, so amounts convert to the group reporting currency.
Reporting
Income statement and budget
A consolidated income statement, a budget fact table and an actual vs budget view with variance, by account, subsidiary, department and class.
Scripts
Runnable build scripts
Four SQL files and a build order, written as plain create view and create table statements for any SQL warehouse. No extra tooling needed.
Documentation
Lineage and notes
A lineage diagram, a note per object and a list of source tables, written so a new analyst can follow how every number is built.
How to use it
Four steps from download to first report.
Step 1
Point it at your tables
Set the netsuite schema to wherever your SuiteAnalytics Connect or NetSuite2.com tables live.
sql/01_staging.sql
Step 2
Run the scripts in order
Run the schema, staging, intermediate and marts scripts in sequence, following the build order file.
sql/build_order.txt
Step 3
Check it against NetSuite
Compare the income statement with your native NetSuite report for a closed period before anyone relies on it.
Tie-out
Step 4
Adapt it
Change the accounting book filter, add your own dimensions, or connect a BI tool to the marts.
